Hi! I'm Abigail, a teenager from Virginia, and I'm the founder and CEO of Power to the Period. Believe it or not, I started this whole thing as part of my Gold Award because when I was first getting my period, I was totally battling a lack of information. Seriously, I felt like no one was talking about the real stuff! I created Power to the Period to be the no-awkward-questions-asked place for young people like us to learn the facts, have some fun, and know that we've got this."
