It's basically the highest, toughest, and coolest thing a Girl Scout can achieve—like the Girl Scout version of an Eagle Scout project
Gold Award vs. Community Service?
Community service is like a short-term fix (like planting a tree). The Gold Award is a "Take Action" project that digs deep to fix the root cause of an issue and create a lasting solution! (Like planting a whole forest!)
How long did this take?
A long time! Gold Award projects are designed to take 80+ hours of planning and action. (But making this website for you all was worth every minute!)
